Aesthetics, the award winning hairdresser in Solihull, has won the Redken NYC Hair Award!

We are delighted to announce that we have been crowned the winner of the prestigous and much coveted Redken NYC Hair Awards for the fourth year in a row. For 2011 we have won the Colour Genius category for our entry based on Redken’s theme of Shapes & Shadows.

Throughout the judging process Redken was looking for ‘beautiful, well executed color result suitable for a 5th Avenue woman with a cut to complement the overall look.’ Key words they used too describe the color they were looking for were: ‘expensive, classy, high shine, fashionable, on-trend’.

The judges were looking for entries that take inspiration from bold shapes, structures and movement. Noting how light and shadow play on the hair, make up and clothes to create a unique overall look.

We attended the Redken NYC Hair Awards last night and recieved our award in front of some of the industry’s most talented people. It goes without saying that we are over the moon to win this awardfor the fourth year running and add yet another accolade to our multi-award winning status.
